With 2006 came the start of another amazing year for Ms. Mardi. She showed only 9
months of the year, was bred, whelped and nursed a litter (while
maintaining the # 1 spot the entire time), and
STILL managed to break the record for the most Top 10 points
earned in a single year by a female for all breeds recognized by UKC!!! Mardi
finished the 2006 year in style, taking
a break the last four weeks of the year to relax and ring in 2007 as UKC's # 1 APBT!!! Mardi won 45 Best of
Breeds under 26 different judges in 2006!!!
ALWAYS WITH COMPETITION !!!
Mardi, the only APBT
to win Best In Show @ Premier
UKC's 2005 Top Ten # 3
Mardi has so
many accomplishments that I want to share with the world. In 2005 at the tender age
of 6 months, Mardi obtained her Championship title in just 1 weekend. The next
month, at 7 months old she earned her Grand Championship title. Mardi also won the 2005
West Coast Breeders Cup Award under a panel of 3 judges. Mardi went on to win
several Grand Champion classes, and Best of Breed's, beating some long time Top 10 dogs,
such as Magnum. In October of 2005, Mardi won the elite National
Grand Champion & National Best of Breed title at the young age of 11 months & 12 days
old, breaking the record for the
youngest NGRCH & NBOB over 98 pit bulls!!! Mardi went on to finish out the year and finished # 3
in the 2005 Top Ten competition at 14 months old!!!Mardi has graced
myself, as well as the show ring with her presence. She is a clean and classy correct
bitch with the attitude of a winner. She has movement unlike many others. She
flows, not moves or gaits, just glides over the ground as if not really touching it.
She went out her first show weekend and Championed winning three Best of Winners and a
Best of Breed at six months old, over some serious competition. There were 7 puppies
in the female puppy class alone. She went into her second show still at six months
old and won 3 out of 4 Champion classes with some stiff competition, 15-18 dogs. Her third
weekend, Mardi made HISTORY becoming UKC's YOUNGEST APBT Grand
Champion at 7 months and 2 days old. Mardi went on to win 3 more Best of Breeds that
weekend and found herself in the UKC's Top Ten at 7 months old. Since then Mardi has
maintained that status among the elite in the 2005 Top Ten. Mardi is the 2005 West Coast
Breeders Cup winner, winning in a class of 15 dogs under a panel of three judges.
Mardi also passed her CGC this same weekend.2005 Mardi is the YOUNGEST
National Grand Champion and National Best of Breed winner. Mardi won the 2005 Nationals
over a group of 99 very nice dogs at 11 months and 12 days old. Mardi is my dream come
true. Mardi and I have accomplished things I didn't know were possible. I have
felt emotions and excitement that words can not describe as well as the agony of
defeat. She has done more in 6 months than some dogs do in a life time. I will
cherish every moment I have with her. Look for little Ms. Mardi in a show ring near
you. I plan on showing her through out the end of 2005 as well as 2006 and probably
2007. She has shown me what she is capable of, and so now it is up to me to lead her
to where she was destined to belong the show ring, her world!
